Great work on the previous assignment! Tonight you will create
10 individual flashcards to continue studying these words. Write each
word on its own index card. On one side write down the word, and on the
other side of the index card draw an illustration to show an image
of what the word means. Next, be prepared to bring your index cards to
class tomorrow for a group activity. Make sure the words are spelled
correctly and the illustration is detailed and colorful. This is due

Tonight, reflect on the group activity you participated in during our
class. Answer the following questions with a few short sentences. Be
prepared to share your reflection tomorrow during our morning

2) What online resources were helpful to you and your group members out
of the choices listed on the board? Which ones did you and your
group participate in?

Locate 3 cultural recipes in which you would find the Spanish food
words we have been learning. After you locate the 3 recipes, compare
these recipes to foods or dishes you have eaten. Did you
discover any similarities or differences in the cultural dishes?
Tomorrow we will swap ideas and recipe finds with other students. You
may use cookbooks or online recipe links to find the information. Make
sure you make a copy or print your work for our "Swap" activity in
class. This is due Friday, October 28, 2008.
